A complex individual who wears their heart on their sleeve.
About The Heartbeat
Forging deep ties with people
You have a natural ability to empathize with people &, as a result, have a natural affinity to connect with them.
You forge ties with people because you’re an emotionally in-tune person, though sometimes it causes difficulty. Facing stressful situations can be difficult & evoke anxiety.
If you feel that your physical, mental or financial well-being is in any jeopardy, you need support from others to lessen the fear & get through such times.
The Heartbeat working remote
In the age of increased uncertainty & isolation, understanding your personality allows you to navigate remote work based on your unique strengths as you face new opportunities & threats.
The Heartbeat is the type of person who never stops moving. Full of energy & awareness, they invest their energy in the people they meet along life’s journey.
As highly empathetic individuals, the Heartbeat is available to most anyone they encounter & have an uncanny ability to relate with & understand people, even if they’ve just met.
They love being there for others & providing a sense of comfort. As a result, they can’t help but get somewhat attached to whomever they connect with, which means they have a vast network of people with whom they feel a kinship. The Heartbeat has a lot of life to give.
When in a well-functioning group:
The Heartbeat’s natural affinity for personal connection is valued & reciprocated. Others understand that they have a genuine affection for them, that the Heartbeat is invested in their well-being.
This gives the Heartbeat even more energy & makes them feel connected to the group. When this happens, the sky’s the limit because a confident Heartbeat is a powerful force.
When feeling connected, they will only pour themselves more fully into the group in ways that benefit the group, encouraging & supporting the other members. It’s a win-win situation for all involved.
When they are out of sync with others:
The Heartbeat’s good intentions can sometimes be seen as clingy or overbearing.
While some people—probably fellow Heartbeats—understand & support them regardless, others feel emotionally drained as it is, so their ability to adjust to the Heartbeat may be lower. If the Heartbeat senses this, they may interpret it as rejection.
Being in tune with others can have its down side too. Simply reconnecting with a safe person can help the Heartbeat find their center & re-engage with those around them in contributing ways.
